CHICKPEAS OMELETTE

Make a chickpea omelet at home, a delicious vegan option that you can easily make with ingredients you already have at home.

Because we are lovers of vegan and healthy breakfasts, we share this incredible recipe with you. A protein-laden breakfast ( 13gr of protein per omelet), high in fiber, free of animal products, is also a recipe free of gluten and sugars.

OUR RECIPE: VEGAN OMELETTE

The vegan version of a traditional homemade omelet is easier than you thought. The main ingredient is chickpea flour, this flour can be found in the supermarket.

You can also prepare your own chickpea flour at home, you will only need your raw and clean chickpeas and a high-power blender (it is important to use a blender jar that is made of glass since a plastic one could break).

Once you have the flour, you will only need a few seasonings to give your omelet a delicious flavor. The filling can be made from the vegetables you like the most, for example, green leaves such as kale, spinach, and chard or even with mushrooms, tomatoes, and beets. Use your creativity and add the ingredients that you like the most.

TIPS FOR THE PERFECT OMELETTE

  • Use a frying pan in good condition, clean, and preferably made of ceramic or ceramic, or granite coating.
  • That the pan is properly oiled, I am not referring to an excess of oil but to the application with a brush or napkin over the entire surface.
  • The mixture should have a consistency similar to that of a pancake or pancake mix, it should not be too watery or too thick.
  • The difference in flour can change the consistency, some are very fine or some have a slightly coarser grind than when we make it at home.
  • You can always adjust the amount of water and flour.

We hope you enjoy this recipe very much and experiment with it, to create new flavors.
